InfoMe.com ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plain-text password).
• Profile information: anything you optionally add, like a bio or avatar image.
• Content you submit: web listings, images, videos, software links, game embeds, classifieds ads, comments, likes, and messages you send through the Service or through the built-in E-Mail.
• Purchase information: order history and amounts for the Shopping section. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Technical information: standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to operate the Service: to let you log in, display your submissions, deliver E-Mail and Messages, process Shopping orders through Stripe, and moderate content. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Some widgets and features call external, free public services to function — for example weather lookups, stock quotes, a daily horoscope, and internet radio streams. These requests only send the search term you type (like a city or stock symbol); we don't send them your account details. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own privacy policy.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to protect forms from cross-site request forgery. We don't use third-party ad-tracking cookies.

5. Content Visibility

Approved Web listings, Images, Videos, Software entries, Games, and Classifieds ads are public by design — that's the purpose of those sections. Messages and E-Mail sent through your account are private between sender and recipient, and our administrators can access account data only for moderation, support, or legal purposes.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request that we delete your account and associated content by contacting us at the address below; some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example, order records).

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone below the age required to legally consent to these terms in their country.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.

If you believe information about you is being stored incorrectly, or you have any privacy concern, please report it to privacy@infome.com and we'll take care of it as soon as possible.
